To Create The Gilbert Ball:

Bake "Vanilla Cupcakes To Decorate"

Roll a small ball of Ready To Roll Icing White. Pinch the edges of the ball to resemble a football.

Roll out a thin piece of Ready To Roll Icing Red and cut into a long strip. Wrap this strip around the edge of the football and secure with a bit of water or edible glue.

Write ‘Gilbert’ in Writing Icing Dark Chocolate to finish off the football.

To Create The Wallabies Jersey.

Cut out the shape of a t-shirt using rolled out Ready To Roll Icing Yellow.

Roll out a thin sheet of Ready To Roll Icing Green and use this to cut one long skinny strip of fondant for the arm and neck cuffs, and to cut out 4 extra small stars. Roll a tiny ball of green Icing to act as the 5th star for the Southern Cross.

Now you have all of your pieces you can assemble your jersey and stick the pieces together with a small bit of water or edible glue.

Cut a small rectangle out of Ready To Roll Icing Blue as the flag. Cut a rectangle out of Ready To Roll Icing White ¼ of the size of the blue rectangle. Cut 2 triangles out of each side of the white rectangle to form the union jack.

Cut 4 extra small stars and 1 small star out of white Icing. Roll a small ball of white ball for the inner star of the Southern Cross.

Assemble the pieces of your flag and join with a small amount of water or edible glue. Using Writing Icing Brights Red, draw the red lines on the union jack.
