|110 g||unsalted butter (room temperature)|
|180 g||caster sugar|
|250 g||plain flour|

|2 tsp||Queen Vanilla Bean Paste|

|500 g||icing sugar|
|1 tsp||Queen Vanilla Bean Paste|
|Dr. Oetker Gel Food Colour , as desired|
Preheat oven to 160C (fan-forced). Mix and sift all dry ingredients together (sugar, flour, Baking Powder and salt) in a large bowl.
Add butter and start mixing on low speed and then turn to high speed (mix for 30 seconds). Add wet ingredients (eggs, milk and vanilla) and beat for 40 seconds.
Bake in Edible Wafer Cupcake Cases. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until a cake tester or skewer comes out clean. Stand cakes in cases for 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Add butter in the bowl and beat on medium speed using a paddle attachment, until light and fluffy.
Add ½ the icing sugar and beat on low speed until combined.
Add vanilla extract, milk and remaining sugar and desired amount of Dr. Oetker Gel Food Colour. Beat on low speed until combined. Increase to high speed and beat until mixture is fluffy. Decorate the cupcakes with the buttercream using a star nozzle.
